CBT

On this site I have gathered resources for using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with clients who are struggling with anxiety or depression. In addition, I have put together pages detailing how CBT might be used for folks who have Alzheimer’s disease as well as for those who are caregivers for Alzheimer’s patients.

CBT is based on the principle that our emotional reactions and behaviors are influenced by our beliefs, or our thoughts and cognitions. Basically, CBT posits that if we can change our thoughts, we can change our behaviors and reactions.
